Na Lei Kahele Nokeala / TOAHINAのHPにようこそ！
古代、文字を持たなかったポリネシアの人美しい自然の恵まれたことへの感謝の気持ちや愛しい人への想い、土地にまつわる神話から日常の出来事に至るまで、様々な物語を踊りに託してきました。
それが現代へと受け継がれ、私たちに多くの歓びをもたらしてくれています。
大切にしたいのは、その土地の歴史や伝統に敬意を払い、踊りが伝えようとしていることを表現すること、物語を伝えること。キラキラ輝く海が見える
豊かな緑におおわれた山が見える
雨の恵みでさらに香りたつ花々を飾る、おおらかな人々の笑顔が見える
そんな踊りができたら、ステキですよね。
もちろん、踊りを楽しむことが大前提です！
踊りを通じて、アロハスピリッツを分け合える、そんな仲間との出会いも、大切にしたいことのひとつです。
基本に忠実に、楽しく、厳しく、丁寧に指導します。

We believe dancing is telling stories.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if people can see the ocean, the mountains and the flowers through your motions?
Especially when it comes to Polynesian dances, which come from those places where people had no letters in the ancient days, dances were the tools to tell and express what people did and felt in their everyday lives.
Telling the stories with your whole body, with the most beautiful smile on your face, brings life to the dance.
And, of course, FUN comes first!
Basically our all classes are carried in Japanese but can be in bi-lingual to accommodate your needs.
